Poles

At Hautapu Pine, we maintain an inventory of commonly used poles and produce other lengths and diameters upon request. Our production capabilities extend to poles up to 18m in length and 500mm in diameter, ensuring we can meet diverse project specifications. Poles are treated to H5, but we can treat to H6 when needed.

Hautapu Pine has supplied several overseas markets and has experience in fulfilling orders both through New Zealand-based agents and directly with overseas customers.

Our commitment to quality is evident in our grading process, where all poles are laid out and individually graded for deformities. Our poles not only meet but often exceed the minimum requirements specified in NZS 3605:2001 (Timber Piles & Poles for Use in Building) for “normal category” poles.

For specialised needs, Hautapu Pine offers the supply of high-category poles made to order.  High category poles are individually strength testedto ensure they meet or exceed the minimum requirements for high category poles as outlined in NZS 3605.
